Great toy.

This is a Christmas gift for my grandson so I haven't seen him play with it yet but from what I see, it will be perfect. Already put in the batteries and I think he will love it.

good for helping a young child with motor skills..

This can be a good tool for helping with motor skills. They have to use their hands to tighten and loosen the bolts. The drill only works when it wants to. I think the battery compartment is not made correctly and the batteries do not keep contact. If you shake the drill and tap it down it may work. I am planning on returning this.
